TANCS® MACHINES
*Susan’s Green Cleaning made a substantial investment in TANCS® machines when we opened for business in 2014, and we purchased even more when the COVID-19 outbreak started. These incredible machines have been shown to kill 99.99% of the human coronavirus, norovirus, fungi, and other bacteria and germs and are 100% non-toxic! At any time, and especially during the COVID-19 pandemic, we are proud to be Seattle’s most trusted house cleaning company. With an owner who’s certified in environmental disinfection and with employees who have undergone COVID-19 education and knowledge tests, we are fully prepared and ready to fight the spread of viruses using our expert cleaning and sanitizing procedures.
We wanted to share what steps we’ve taken to ensure your safety, the community’s safety, and the safety of our cleaning staff.
OUR SAFETY PROCEDURES
- 100% of our employees are vaccinated.
- We’re keeping people home if they’re sick, period. We have sick time and paid time off for our employees as well, so nobody has to worry about coming in because they can’t afford to work.
- We’re all practicing social distancing: we paused all office meetings back in January, 2020; we only change equipment one technician at a time and stay 8′ away. We’re also following this practice in our lives outside of work.
- We will stand at least at least 6′ away from you, and we ask you stand at least 6′ away from us as well. We will also be wearing buttons with the 6′ away request on our uniforms as a reminder 😊
- We use Super HEPA in our Miele vacuums, which filter down to 0.1 microns (the coronavirus is 0.125)
- Our cleaning technicians and office staff have taken safety training and passed the test relating to COVID-19 sanitization and disinfection procedures, as well as continued education in real-time regarding COVID-19 transmission.
- We continue to thoroughly sanitize and disinfect equipment after each home.
We use fresh body aprons for every home and disinfect our uniforms after each home. - We are a Category 1 Low Risk Profession. Our employees actually interact with very few people during the day (and each technician cleans an average of 1 – 2 houses a day) and we are not cleaning homes where anyone is showing flu-like symptoms and/or coronavirus symptoms.
- EQUIPMENT EXCHANGE: All equipment is TANCS® vapor cleaned in our office when it is exchanged and then sanitized again at the technician’s car. TANCS® Vapor Cleaning kills all microorganisms and the human coronavirus after 3 seconds. No chemical can ever reach that level of sanitization (not even bleach). This is why officials use vapor sanitization on cruise ships to control norovirus (norovirus is harder to kill than human coronavirus) outbreaks. SEE OUR VIDEO
- We use PerfectCLEAN® microfiber cleaning cloths, which remove 99.9% of bacteria and certain viruses.
- We use fresh cleaning cloths and mop heads for every home.
- Our cleaning technicians wear cotton masks (made locally), fresh gloves, and fresh aprons for each home.
- We’re taking extra hygiene steps: we’re sanitizing our hands before we enter your home, we’re wearing gloves throughout the cleaning process, and taking additional disinfecting steps for critical entry and exit points for your home.
